The Central University Entrance Test (CUET) will not be charged for this year, according to University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar, and there will be an increase in the number of centers from roughly 450 to roughly 1000.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) was thinking about making adjustments to this year’s exam in light of numerous complaints about difficulties in the administration of CUET, the first-ever all-India exam for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in 45 central universities held in 2022. Among the remedies under discussion was a reduction in the number of subject combinations offered and a review of the cities where the tests are administered.
